HIE-YA ("we", "us", "our") built the Mechanical Keyboard Simulator app ("the App") as a free, ad-supported app. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information.
01 Information We Collect
- Device identifier (Google Play Games ID or anonymous device ID)
- Gameplay data: key clicks, play time, session count, level, XP, coins, unlocked items
- Age category (13+ or under 13) — used solely for COPPA-compliant ad targeting
- No personal information (name, email, phone) is collected
02 How We Use Information
- Cloud save: sync your game progress across sessions
- Leaderboards: display anonymous rankings
- Analytics: improve the app experience
- Ad targeting: serve age-appropriate ads
03 Children's Privacy (COPPA)
The App includes an age gate. Users who indicate they are under 13 receive only contextual, non-personalized ads. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. No behavioral tracking is performed for child users.
04 Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
- Google AdMob — serves banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads (Privacy Policy)
- Google Play Games Services — anonymous sign-in for leaderboards and cloud save (Privacy Policy)
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — stores gameplay data via DynamoDB, Lambda, and API Gateway (Privacy Policy)
05 Data Storage and Security
Data is stored on AWS servers in the EU (Frankfurt, eu-central-1). All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption.
06 Data Retention and Deletion
Game data is retained as long as you use the App. To request deletion of your data, contact us at moshe.hatab.projects@gmail.com. We will delete your data within 30 days.
07 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
